Baby is here!

On the 22nd of June, just before 7am, we welcomed our brand new son into the world. Baby 'Froggie' was 'born in the caul' weighing 7lb 9oz.

Although we had been planning a homebirth, in the end we had to go to the hospital by ambulance after a long night of strong contractions without dilating. Froggie was born about an hour after we arrived at the hospital.

We went home again 3 hours later, exhausted and happy.

He is almost 3 weeks old now. He is our most demanding baby yet - feeding VERY often and we are getting very little sleep - but we adore him!

How could we not? He's just such a cutie!

Would you consider submitting this and/or any other birth stories you have? Thanks for sharing, beautiful pictures :)
